OPUS10 BASIC

Objectives

The objective of the OPUS10 Basic Course is to enable students to understand basic logistics modeling and to make them familiar with the main OPUS10 functionality.
By the end of the course students will be able to:
  • Understand how to model Maintenance Breakdown Structures and Logistic Support Organizations (LSO)
  • Model Stock and Repair policies within LSOs
  • Input and test datasets
  • Run OPUS10 and select results for customized reports.
  • Understand the role of OPUS10 in Life Cycle Cost analyses
  • Import and export data
  • Understand the Measures of Effectiveness, which OPUS10 can calculate
  • Understand where and where not to use OPUS10
Furthermore the course gives the student an introduction to some more advanced topics such as:
  • The OPUS10 extended LORA functionality, i.e. Level (Location) of Repair Analysis
  • SIMLOX verification of OPUS10 results
  • The math theory behind OPUS10

Course Structure

This course is a workshop for a maximum of 8 students. It will include manual calculation and extensive hands-on use of OPUS10, to reinforce learning points.
The exercises are intended to challenge student who will work at their own pace aided by the instructor when necessary

Price

The price per participant is 16 000 SEK (~1700 EUR). The price is reduced by 15% if your company has a support agreement with Systecon.

Advanced Course

A 3 day OPUS10 basic course is sometimes followed by a 2 day advanced course. By attending both these courses a deeper understanding of what can be modelled in OPUS10 is achieved.
